Isn’t this just an anti-tax knee jerk measure aimed in anger over increases in taxes?

Isn’t this just an anti-tax knee jerk measure aimed in anger over increases in taxes?

This is a well though out response to years of uncontrolled and unwise taxing and spending increases. Every legislative attempt over the past 10 years to put controls on increased taxes and spending has been rejected by our elected officials. The fact is state and local spending is increasing at more than twice the cost of living, while those left in the state to pay the tax bill are decreasing. Increased taxes are driving businesses and residents out of North Dakota. Unless something is done to reverse these trends, our state will continue to shrink, opportunities for our children will continue to decline, and they (our children) will continue to move away.
