Isn’t this estuary liable to flood leaving the stations vulnerable?

The site of the existing Bradwell power station has been protected against storm events and flooding for several decades. The existing defences will need to be maintained and upgraded and the new site levels raised up. We have already commissioned some studies from the Met Office and Halcrow looking at the effects of climate change on this coast for the next 100 years. Those studies give us the confidence that although there could be significant impacts from sea level rise, the land can continue to be protected by established and accepted engineering methods.
