Isn there a band called Save Ferris?
Yes there is. Save Ferris is a ska / pop / swing band (and has nothing to do with the movie except for the source of the name). They’ve been compared to No Doubt because the lead vocalist is female, they’re both ska-inspired band, and they’re both from Orange County, CA. You may know of them via their recent cover of the Dexy Midnight Runners’ “Come On Eileen” or perhaps the single “The World is New”.
