Not anymore. South Boston’s Seaport District is undergoing an amazing transformation into a mixed commercial, residential, and recreational area. Although anchored by the BCEC, this neighborhood is not destined to be a typical convention center district. Instead, South Boston is the city’s next great community—a place where people will work, live, and play.
