No, the census is nothing to do with your private affairs. The information on your census form is confidential and it remains so indefinitely under current Northern Ireland legislation. Background Census information is collected by field staff working for the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency. Anyone handling census information has to sign a census confidentiality declaration and it is an offence for him or her to pass personal information from the census to another government department, organisation or an individual unconnected with the Census Office. Prosecution could result in a prison term of up to 2 years.
