With its high capacity and speedy transfer rates, tape is perfectly suited for data-intensive applications such as one-to-one hard drive backup, something our customers tell us is important. Imagine the number of 700MB CDs it would require to backup a full hard drive – but with Travan only one tape cartridge is necessary. Plus, with the explosive growth rate of servers, tape truly remains the most efficient option for server backup because of its capacity, ease of automation, and high reliability.
