Isn’t reusing cardboard moving boxes green also?

Well, in my opinion, every little effort counts as long as you are sincere in doing so. Recycling anything including cardboard boxes is considered as green too because you are reusing what you already have instead of simply buying more and destroying more trees. So, just go slow with your personal efforts and reduce, reuse, and recycle whenever you can.

A. Reusing cardboard moving boxes is green. A mellow shade of green. Cardboard moving boxes only last 3 times before they have become too abused to use any longer. Our Gorilla Boxes last hundreds of times, and are made from recycled plastic and are recycled once again after several hundred moves. Using Gorilla Boxes also eliminates the need for tape and other non recyclable products. We also provide very green, recyclable packing alternatives to styrofoam peanuts. Our efficient delivery system also cuts down on fuel emissions required by ~40%/per move by reducing the number of people on the road in Calgary looking for moving boxes. Renting Gorilla Moving Boxes reduces solid waste per move by over 70%. In a nutshell, every house that moves with Gorilla Box versus cardboard moving boxes, saves almost an entire tree!
