Isnt MRPS just another needless expense for our industry?
No. MRPS will eliminate many fruitless contacts and in doing so will reduce non-response and its attendant costs. Any charges made for registering non-respondents and maintaining a database, against which participating research agencies would check their samples, will be kept to the minimum necessary to operate and publicise the service. We would expect such charges to be more than offset by savings in reducing non-response rates.
