Isn’t joining a fraternity just buying friends?
No! Joining any organization, whether it’s a student club, the football team, or the chess club means paying fees. All organizations have operating costs. Pi Alpha Phi is no different. They pay for brotherhood retreats, social events, and other functions of the fraternity. The fraternity does not profit from any fees. In fact, we can’t because we are a not-for-profit organization.
