No. Because the use of PRI-G results in more efficient combustion, fuel economy is greatly improved. The fuel savings more than pays for the cost of treatment. In the long-term, the capability of PRI-G to prevent carbon deposits actually extends engine life – since it is the hard carbon with untreated fuels that accelerates abrasion and wear.
