Isn hydrogen dangerous?
Hydrogen accumulated in a large quantity or in compressed gas or liquid form can be dangerous. Hydrogen on-demand is NOT dangerous. Hydrogen is not toxic. The same is true of Oxygen. We continually breathe these gasses. Both occur naturally. Hydrogen does not ignite as readily as gasoline, diesel and other fuels (higher ignition temperature of hydrogen) Hydrogen burns with a lower temperature than both gasoline and diesel. All Hydrogen and Oxygen generated by HYOX are used immediately (only produced when engine is running). No special handling or safety gear is needed using uncompressed (on-demand) quantities of these gasses. Check out this study comparing Hydrogen vs Gasoline safety. Unlike gasoline, diesel, methane, propane, ethanol etc., releasing Hydrogen and Oxygen into the atmosphere is harmless.
