Isnt fan girl Morgan technically a Mary-Sue?
:Dear Lord, I sure hope not! I won’t deny that it’s an avatar of me, but not all author self-insertions or original characters are Mary Sues, and I try very hard to make sure that none of my characters fall in that category. Fangirl Morgan isn’t particularly well liked by any of the characters, nor does she have any special powers or talents (except maybe drawing and being really annoying, but her art work is never brought up or made a point of). She has brown hair and eyes, no relationships to any of the canon characters (she was just kind of “there”) and she’s on the pudgy side. She has my strength and my weaknesses to make her more realistic, but I tend to exaggerate her short attention span and annoying behavior for the sake of humor. If you start to suspect my characters of turning Sue-ish, please tell me right away so I can correct this mistake.
