Isn’t Confirmation taught in the Day School?
Not at Immanuel. Immanuel offers Confirmation instruction outside of Immanuel Lutheran School on Sunday mornings and Monday evenings. This enables small group structure to be used which enhances learning and understanding, and it promotes unity within our congregation, bringing together the Day School and non-Day School students in one class. Can any student be in the Monday night class? The Monday night class is open to all students; however, this class was originally designed to offer an option to those families who were unable to make Sunday morning classes because of strong commitments or divorce situations. If your family is interested in the Monday night class, you will be asked to provide a reason for that choice. Can a student attend either class at any time? Once a student is enrolled in either the Sunday morning or Monday night class, they must remain in that class. They are not able to attend Monday night if they miss Sunday morning or vice versa.
