Isn’t Budget System training the same as Cognos Training?
Users frequently request budget training in Cognos reporting. Cognos reporting, however, is not a budget function but a reporting function for actual expenditures (supported by FAS). Training for Cognos reporting is, therefore, handled and scheduled by FAS. On the other hand, the budget system training sessions focus solely on budget philosophy and offer hands on training in updating budget templates. Note that since budget input occurs in Apr/May of each year, training for the budget system input is offered annually in March. All VPs, Budget Officers, Department heads and authorized proxies are invited to this training.
