iSeries / AS400 FAQ : (Category) Programming : How can I recursively delete an IFS directory?

Q. I’d like to remove a directory and all it’s sub-directories and files from the IFS. How? A. The IFS tools can do it: http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.nsf/0/3976fed8ab10134b862568b60071ccd3?OpenDocument Also, WRKLNK can get you there via EDTF. If you use option 2 to ‘edit’ a directory, you’ll bring up EDTF. EDTF has an option 9 to recursively delete.
