Is Yuengling Beer owned by one of the large mega brewers (Miller/Coors/Budweiser)?
Yuengling is independently owned, but not typically thought of as a “craft” brewery due to their high volume and the fact that they use “adjuncts,” such as rice or corn (adjuncts are added to the barley before fermentation to drive down costs). All the others you named are independent except Red Hook (~1/3 owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev) and Blue Moon (owned by Coors). As a side note, Miller and Coors are both part of the MillerCoors joint venture that combines all operations of Miller, Coors, and Pabst to better compete with Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev owns the Budweiser brand). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mil…
