No, there is no such thing as 100% hulless popcorn, but ours is virtually hulless. A popcorn kernel needs a hull the way we need skin – to hold our guts in. The hull allows the moisture in the popcorn kernel to turn to steam and enables steam pressure to build up. This steam pressure is what causes the popcorn kernel to pop and reveal their delicious, fluffy insides. Our Tender Pop has a very thin hull, which means that when it pops, the hull shatters rather than sticking to the popped corn.
