well my mom doesn’t ignore me at all…i love her, but there are topics that i would not feel comfortable talking to her about, such as boys because i know she would not accept any guy right now, i guess she is too protective, although i am a little secretive person who doesn’t like to talk about private stuff with any one, even with my mom you should ask her why she doesn’t have time to talk to you ever, and why she doesn’t try to make some time to talk to you. Tell her that you really need to know this and if she is trying to change topic, just let her know that your question is important….

my Mum will give you the shirt off her back, but when it comes to talking about emotions she can’t relate. I talk to my husband about anything and have told my teenagers that I’ll always be there for them, a connection I miss from my own mother. Sad, but I still love and accept her.
