Is Yoga helpful for Asthmatics?
Yoga has no direct correlation to your asthma. It is helpful for your general health and well being and in this way it is helpful for asthma patients. Yoga is essentially a spiritual science where you learn to do ‘pranayama’, which are breathing exercises and ‘asanas’, which are bodily positions in exercises. It is important that you do these exercises under an experienced yoga practitioner. But remember to discuss this with your doctor first. If you do yoga, please do not stop your inhaled medication.
