Is Yelahanka Safe ?
Once again, Yelahanka is not very safe. It’s in a semi-urban area, and being on the outskirts has it’s own pros and cons. Girls should refrain from wearing shorts, skirts, and skimpy shirts. When you wear a sleeveless, cover up with a scarf or something, it’s for your own safety. Avoid staying out at night, and all the PGs do have curfew times. If you’re going to be living on the ground floor, keep your valuables away from the windows. Avoid using plug points that are close to windows and keep your beds away from your windows. Unfortunately there have been incidents. Keep your valuables safe with you, especially your laptops and cameras and stuff. Once you get here, you’ll figure out everything pretty soon. You’ll learn a lot, innovate a lot, and you’ll figure out your way of life over here. Have a great semester ahead at Srishti.
