Is X-MEN 4 really coming out?
Two more X-men movies are coming out, but not X-men 4. The first is currently through with filming and will be out next year. It’s a Wolverine movie and it focuses on his origins. It introduces Gambit and Deadpool. The second is yet to have begun production, but is rumored to be an offshoot with a different set of characters like White Queen and other main characters that weren’t used in the first films, but though many of our favorite characters won’t be coming back, Ian is supposedly contracted to return as Magneto. That’s just rumor, though. The Wolverine movie is definitely happening as they had a preview this year at COMIC-CON, and Jackman was there to introduce it personally. It is scheduled for release on May 1st, 2009.
