Is WTD compliance being achieved at the cost of missing other targets, or downgrading patient care?
No. There are innovative ways to implement the EWTD and support improvements in patient services. For example, Stockport and Macclesfield Urology network have cut waiting lists. Evaluation of the pilots programme by West Midlands Deanery will be published at the WTD Conference in London on 15 May.
