Yes, it is very active in the Philippines. My friend is sponsoring a child and she gets the child’s progress report, even letters from the child himself. My colleague’s husband works for World Vision and she was saying that her husband travels around the country a lot to visit their offices in the provinces and go to the sites were there sponsored children are based. When Region 6 was heavily devastated by the recent typhoons, he and other volunteers were there in Iloilo and nearby provinces to help the victims.
