Is world peace a possibility?
It is human nature to make war and conflict. While the causality of conflict has as many reasons as there are people, the reasons can be cut down to one of 3 classes. Humans will always want what someone else has. Whether it is land, materials, or natural resources that you have, someone out there wants it, and they are willing to take it from you. This is particularly true when the limits of some resources occur. This can even occur when one of the resources that are lacking are people, or a low number of a certain sex of a population. (Sideline; Violence in mainland China has increased dramatically due to the lack of marriage age females in the population. This occurred due to the social benefit of having male children.) This would include the idea that I have been wronged, and will retaliate to make sure I get what is mine. Imposing someone’s beliefs or ideologies upon another group of people that believe differently. We do not have to look far, either historically or geographically
