Wireless Internet is the fastest of the Broadband systems, with speeds up to 54 mbps (megabits per second) Here’s a comparison: DSL – 1.5 to 6.0 megabits Cable – 1.0 to 9.0 megabits USB Cards – 0.15 mbps to 3.0 megabits And of course, Dialup, which is not Broadband. Dialup = 16 kbps to 56 kbps (or 0.016 to 0.056 megabits – pretty slow!
