Is Wireless, Etc.s service the same as DSL?
No. While we do offer speeds as fast, or faster than DSL (Digital Subscriber Line), our wireless service is an alternative to DSL. The main difference is that we do not incur cost to use a telecommunications carrier for “last mile” connectivity. Instead of using outdated copper phone lines, we deliver our connection wirelessly via radio waves. A large number of homes and businesses in Hot Springs are not yet eligible for DSL. If you have NEAR line-of-site to one of our towers, Wireless, Etc. can typically install your service within 3 to 5 business days.
