i do think having good new friends is effective in overcoming rejection. But i need to say even the people who love us dearly may wound (emotionally) us occasionally because of misunderstanding or even sin ( According to to Bible, no one is sinless except Jesus). Only the Almighty God understands us perfectly. Only God can fill the void in our hearts when we experience rejection ( i am not saying we should avoid to have communication with people. i am saying God is our safety net.God can comfort us and heal perfectly.
