Is wine hard liquor? What is it considered?
Wine is any fruit juice that’s been fermented. Yeast is added and converts the sugars from the fruit juice (and any that’s added) to alcohol and CO2. When you just say “wine” it’s understood that it’s from grapes. Any other fruit is mentioned in the wine, such as: Elderberry wine, raspberry wine, cherry wine, etc. The difference between beer and wine is that beer comes from grain instead of fruit.
