Is winder farms in utah mormon owned?
With the high percentage of people in Utah being LDS, the chances of many businesses and/or farms being owned by Mormons is pretty high. In fact, I wouldn’t doubt if there were Mormons in California, other parts of the U.S., and even other countries who own businesses. People from all religions are businessmen. I don’t understand what the significance is if a farm is owned by Mormons. Now if you mean, is the farm owned by the LDS Church, that is another question. The LDS Church used to own several farms which they used as part of their welfare system. As a young boy, I donated a lot of time on the welfare farm run by our stake. The cattle, hay, and beets produced by the farm were used in assisting the poor. They also own canneries and Bishop’s storehouses. The poorer members of the Church can get food from the Bishop’s storeshoses when needed by going through the bishop of their ward.
