Is Wilderness Aware a licensed outfitter?
Wilderness Aware holds Colorado River Outfitter License #4, Outfitters Registration License #863, and is an equal opportunity service provider. We are members of Colorado River Outfitters Association, America Outdoors Professional River Outfitters, Arizona River Outfitters Association and Arkansas River Outfitters Association. All or part of our operation is conducted on public lands under special use permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, (Kremmling, Royal Gorge, Uncompahgre, Moab, and Dolores Public Lands Field Offices), Colorado State Parks, and USDA Forest Service (San Isabel-San Carlos Ranger District, Routt, Medicine Bow, Tonto and San Juan National Forests.
