They are certainly cheaper so in that context they are “better” but whether the speeds etc are the same I don’t know as we’ve never used Wi-Max. We were with eircom but moved to Vodafone@Home for our phone and broadband, service (speeds etc) is pretty much the same as with eircom but Vodafone is cheaper.
