Is white particle board waterproof?

I really like working with white particle board when it comes to my shop. I have done some research on melamine. It does appear to be waterproof because it is a type of resin/plastic product. I’m just asking for a second opinion because I need to use some inside my milling machine enclosure that runs full flood. And other than keeping the actual wood dry, i’m not concerned with it being submersed, cause it wont be. It will simply be getting splattered on. Just thought I’d ask.
