Answer White gold is the lightest color of gold. It is carated the same as yellow gold. Gold is specially alloided to be whiter in color. The finished product is usually Rhodium plated which is a platinum product. Rhodium is a very white and hard metal. Nickle isn’t used any more, it used to be until we found out it is really bad for humans, most people have a pretty bad reaction to it.
