Is weight training only for young people?
A. Most people drift through life accepting the fact that as they age they are inevitably going to get fatter and less healthy. It is true that as we age our metabolism begins to slow down. Yet, do you know why our metabolism slows as we age? Most people become much more sedentary as they age. The consequence of this is that we reduce the amount of muscle we carry on our bodies due to lack of activity. No matter what your age is, you can and will re-ignite your metabolism by following the “I Can Do It” exercise program. I don’t care how old you are, you are never too old to improve, and weight training is an integral part of your road to success.
