WebMessenger was primary developed using Mozilla 1.3+; cross-browser compatibility was a major focus during development. At the moment, WebMessenger has been tested and is known to work with Mozilla 1.3+ and Internet Explorer 6.x. Opera is not supported at this time. (WebMessenger is technically usable with Opera, if you’re willing to put up with a lot of errors; Opera’s JavaScript parser apparently isn’t compatible with IE/NS.) WebMessenger will NOT work with Netscape 4.x. Sorry, but Netscape 4.x is evil, and is a nightmare to write JavaScript for.
