Is WebChaver impossible to circumvent? What will prevent me from just disabling the program?
WebChaver is a great program but as with all internet filters installed on home PCs in most instances it can be bypassed in under a minute with little technical knowledge.
The most effective filters are the ones that are installed at the point of entry (ie Cable modem); either installed on the firewall/router or as a stand alone appliance.
Both these options are not cheap.
The CE program is designed to be extremely difficult to disable or bypass. Accountability is only effective when you are being monitored. The technology used to prevent tampering and circumvention is from the strongest we have seen.
