Is WeatherShield® fabric strong?
A – For state-of-the-art outdoor performance wear, EPIC by Nextec® uses nylons, lycra, and now cotton, as base fabrics to finish with their patented encapsulation process. For covers, Covercraft® selected polyester as the base fabric. Polyester is very strong and naturally resistant to moisture and UV. The tight weave of the fabric results in a material that has high tensile strength in both the warp and weave (width and length) of the material.
