Is wearing a white and black dress to a wedding appropriate?

My dress is leopard print black (40% + trimmings) and white (about 60%) and I’d wear it with a black belt, black sandals and colorful accents. The cut is tasteful (strapless, just over the knee with kind of a bell shaped skirt) but I’m wondering of etiquette dictates I should wear something with no white in it so it won’t seem like I’m trying to compete with the bride. It’s the most flattering item I own atm, but I wouldn’t want to be rude and may be able to make other arrangements.
