WDM transmission can be achieved by using a module with a built-in laser operating on a wavelength of 1,550nm and in conjunction with a WDM coupler. Currently, Canare produces converters that can multiplex 2 wavelengths of 1,310nmm and 1,550nm on a tailor-made basis.
