Is walk-in tutoring available?

This is a great way to get academic support! The ASC office staff will assist you in setting up days and times for groups study sessions. • For what courses may I receive tutoring? Academic support is offered for most SWC courses. Check the ASC tutor Schedules. If you don’t see the class you need, ask the ASC and staff and we will make every effort to find a tutor for you. ASC services are subject to tutor availability and funding. • How long are the tutoring sessions? This depends on the center. In the ASC, appointments are for 50 minutes, equivalent to the college hour. The Writing Center schedules 20 minute appointments. In walk-in centers and labs, tutoring times vary from 5 to 20 minutes. • May I work with a tutor longer than my scheduled appointment? Not usually. Tutor appointments are scheduled throughout
