Is Wacom Bamboo good enough for graphic design?

Well as a graphic designer and digital painter myself i use the Bamboo. I do have an Intuos4, but i would recommend since it’s your first one that you stick with the bamboo. I honestly prefer my bamboo. It works perfectly, yes it’s sensitive enough for really fine detailing and it’s compact for if you are ever on the go. So start with the Bamboo because i know some graphic designers that hate tablets they just like to use a mouse. Start off cheap and if you like tablets then save up for the Intuos4 or larger. Hope i could help.
