Yes. Beginning with version 2.5, Vypress Messenger has been able to receive standard WinPopup, Windows NT® Messenger Service, Linux SMB and Novell NetWare® messages. Since version 3.0, Vypress Messenger has also been able to send messages to such receivers. If you want to send messages to an SMB-compatible receiver (such as WinPopup from Windows 9x, Messenger Service from NT/2000 or Samba from Unix/Linux) you must prefix it with SMB: chars. For example: SMB:COMPUTERNAME.
