vitaflavan® is a bioavailable product. Indeed, vitaflavan® has a guaranteed high content of short catechin and epicatechin oligomers. Oligomers are small molecules that are easily absorbed and have multiple biological actions. Polymers have a higher molecular weight and are not easily absorbed. As a result, they have very weak biological action. In some cases, they may even have an anti-nutritional effect by bindind to proteins and enzymes. That is why DRT eliminates polymers despite their abundant presence in health ingredients that have not been sufficiently purified.
