Is Virgin Media a good service and value for money?
I’m with Virgin, and have nothing but praise for them. Their broadband is amazing, I can download 3Gb worth of data in 3 hours P2P, I can play on my Xbox360 and the other half browse the net at the same time without affecting each other at all, ping times of 10ms, compared to 30-50ms with copper wire. Things start getting expensive when you start adding Sky Movies and Sky Sports, but otherwise it’s a great service, helplines are answered almost immediately, set up instructions are easy, if you don’t have a cable terminal in your house, they will install one for £30, AND turn up when they say they will. I love them, and won’t go back to anyone else.
