Depends on what system you use. Computer to computer is free (eg Skype to Skype). The moment one party or the other uses a phone number to complete the call, there will be some kind of charge. For Skype to Skype calling you need only two things: 1 A webcam. If you don’t have one, the Logitech is good 2. A Skype application running on your computer. This is a free download but if you are setting it up for the first time and do not have a camera installed yet, follow the camera’s instructions carefully, don’t set up Skype first.
