Well I can tell you that based upon a 39.99 a month plan on Verizon, there is almost nothing on that plan. Free text can be had but you have to get a certain plan. With Verizon, if you choose a Nationwide Select Plan it includes text messaging no matter what network the other end is on. Keep in mind that the other person may not have a plan that offers free text messaging however, so they would be charged for messages you send to them. These plans start at 59.99 for two lines, sharing 450 minutes.
