Is Venom an anti hero or villian?
He became an antihero early on, then lost his memory and became a villain after he bonded with Mac Gargan (the Scorpion). He caused the creation of Eddie Brock’s new suit, Anti-Venom. He hates Carnage because Carnage has absolutely no honor whatsoever and follows the rest of the Symbiotes urges to dominate life, whereas Venom has shown honor (in LA and elsewhere) and actually sought to turn away from the lifestyle of the other Symbiotes. Much of the insanity Venom has shown came from his hosts (Brock when he was seeking revenge, Ann Weying when she was attacked, and Angelo Fortunato when he was trying to prove himself to his mob-boss father).
