Is velveeta shells and cheese a healthy dinner choice?
If you’re going for low-calorie, cheese isn’t the best choice. You also have a lot of carbs in that dinner, and you really only need those if you’re planning on working out quite a lot. Other things can fill you up just as well. Here’s what I reccomend: A lean meat (about the size of a deck of cards)… tuna will work, but only if you skip the mayo. Otherwise, try chicken or another fish. Carrots or celery.. some sort of fresh vegetable, skip the butter OR salad with light dressing (sprinkle grated cheese on top to satisfy your cheese craving) For desert – throw some plain yogurt, ice, fruit and a splash of milk in a blender for a yummy smoothie Good luck!
