Is UTS offering any support for Windows Vista?

0

UTS has an ongoing process for testing, identifying, and researching Windows Vista issues. As we find these issues and develop corrections to them, we will post them on this website. UTS offers continuing support through our UTS Help Desk at (803) 777-1800. Students who have problems connecting to the University network can call the Help Desk and schedule an appointment in our iCARE Center, or drop by to see us at 1244 Blossom Street. Our technicians will help you get onto the residential network if you have Vista installed on your machine. You must also have a legal copy of Vista and a clean network history. This means, no copyright violations or violations with the network policy. For students, faculty and staff using Vista on the USC Wireless Network, there are known issues with the Cisco VPN client. However, UTS has a beta-version of a VPN client that the University community can use and test with Vista. Contact the iCARE Center at (803) 777-1800 to setup an appointment for install
