Is UTC same as GMT in watch complications?
Yes. Although brands represent this complication in different forms i.e. Omega Seamaster GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) has the independent 24hr hand as well as a 24hr bezel and IWC has the UTC window. UTC stands for Universal Time Coordinated. It means that you can read two time zones on your watch. Originally it was created for the military when they want to coordinate certain things, but each of the elements maybe located in different time zones. To reduce the potential for disaster and confusion, the Military used GMT as their standard time. UTC is simply another name for GMT.
